A Perfect Mystery
PERFORMANCE & STAGING
FEBRUARY 21st & 22nd, 2026
INTRODUCTION
The third and final seminar in the A Perfect Mystery series focuses on PERFORMANCE & STAGING, the moment when we present our audience with the work we have developed. In a total of 8 hours, divided over two days, I will share techniques to enhance the delivery of a mystery. Drawing on my academic background in theater studies, the essence of this seminar is not theoretical but instead focuses on practical outcomes using that same knowledge. Alongside this, I will share new pieces of my repertoire, techniques never seen in print, and concepts of how to structure a whole evening show. But this is not all: I will analyse honest recorded reactions from audiences witnessing mysteries and conclude how to achieve the consistency of those in different performances, and what the key elements are that play a crucial role in this. At the end, you will be able to see the recording of the whole session to study it at your own pace. And there is more!
WHAT WILL BE DISCUSSED
The focus of this seminar will be on how to present and deliver Magic to a live audience. Drawing on the experience I have gathered over the years, combined with my academic studies in theater, I will share concepts and strategies to enhance the audience's experience when confronting something impossible.
We will analyze audience reactions and comments to uncover the reasons behind them, understanding what acts as a trigger and how we can achieve better reaction moments in our performances. Alongside these lessons, I will provide insights into how to structure a full-evening performance, with focus on rhythm and diversity.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Magic is a particular performing art with special needs when it comes to staging and directing. In a close-up setting or a parlour environment, depending on how you present your repertoire, the reactions to a performance can be drastically different. I will share my Staging Guidelines to achieve the clarity each plot needs and the impact your audience deserves.
Different routines will illustrate these techniques. I will revisit some routines & ideas from the two previous seminars to provide new insights on how performance enhances them, but also share new unpublished pieces.
WHAT YOU WILL GET
Once you sign up, you will access a private area. There, you will be able to access all the information related to the seminar. I am preparing a few extra surprises for this area, but rest assured that before February 21st, you will have additional content to study and enjoy.
What if you can’t watch the seminar live in those days? Don’t worry! After the seminar, the footage will be available in your private area, allowing you to review all the shared material at your own pace. This way, even if you plan to attend the event and something happens that prevents you from doing so, you will be able to watch all the content delivered, plus all the extra goodies.
And the seminar doesn’t really end there! I want to encourage you to test these ideas and get my feedback on how they can be applied to your repertoire. So, as a participant, you can access a page, submit a video link for the following three months, and receive my feedback about your performance. I will provide this feedback directly in a one-on-one Zoom call with each participant.
THIS EVENT WILL BE LIMITED TO 200 SUBSCRIBERS.

SOME QUESTIONS ANSWERED
-
After considering this, I don’t plan to do this again. These seminars represent the end of a creative cycle, and I want to share this part of my growth as an artist. My last seminar was in 2017, when I felt the same need. So, maybe by 2032, I might I share something different.
-
The goal is to share staging techniques and explain how they enhance magical compositions, creating a unique experience for your audience. I will share theoretical concepts, but for me, theory needs to serve practice, and I will ensure you understand how to apply each idea I share practically.
-
This is a live event; if you can, you should attend it, no matter what. Your experience will be better that way. Nevertheless, the seminar will be recorded, and a copy will be accessible to all registrants, so you can watch it later if that is more convenient.
-
Once you register, you will access a private area on the website where you can log in to access all the information you need about the live seminar, as well as the recording and other perks you will be receiving.
-
The focus should be on the ideas and concepts I will share during the seminar, but I welcome any pertinent questions about Magic if we find extra time during the Q&A sections.
LAST WORD
This seminar is the culmination of the series and arguably the most important of the three. From a worker’s perspective, once you understand performance and how magic happens and is perceived in a performance, you will
Also, if you feel you are not a writer, let me assure you: everyone is. You need to understand how to unleash that part of yourself; in that regard, this is the right place to learn it. I am not holding back, as I think this is the key point of this particular seminar: to create better magic experiences for our audiences. The better your Magic, the better we all are. Not only will I share insights into how to design magic experiences better, but the information will be organized and easy to understand for you to study later. You will get eight hours of the knowledge and experience I have gathered throughout my career.
If you know my work, you know how much I love and care about Magic. This seminar will provide a clear path to respect magic as an art form and add new layers to the ongoing conversation and show how important it is to take it a step further as a live performance. I hope you can use what I am offering as a magnifying lens in your repertoire to make it more meaningful, more potent, and personal. My most immense joy as a spectator is still witnessing great magic, and if this seminar can help make it happen, I am pleased.
Yours,
